Invisible Structures
Collaborating with Balza Crosetto Piazzi, we created visuals that capture the Argentine Pavilion’s evocative atmosphere and connection to the country’s diverse landscapes at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale.

For the Argentine Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023, titled "Invisible Structures", Balza Crosetto Piazzi designed a space to evoke Argentina’s diverse regions. Each of the pavilion’s thirteen coffers represents a unique territory, using soil types from across the country, from the Puna to the Patagonia.
The earthy textures highlight connections to Argentina’s varied landscapes, aligning with the pavilion’s theme of honoring memory and local knowledge as foundations for the future. Our visuals emphasized a dramatic atmosphere, using soft, contrasting lighting to create a chiaroscuro effect that invite to quiet reflection.
Fun fact: some images integrate Tango Studio team members into the scenes!
